These machines are not designed to process anything too rigid that will not bend and give some. The company expects the new shipping service will benefit the millions of buyers and sellers growing their sports and non-sports trading cards collections on the marketplace. They say you can put up to 15 raw cards in a single mailer - good luck with that. I see a lot of sellers selling Jersey and relic thick cards using this service which can be suicide for a card or a mailer that is too thick or overstuffed. Here is one I recently received with a single toploader inside and you can get an idea of what these cards go through. Roller marks from the machines can mess up the barcodes to where they cannot be read. I agree only PWE should be used and the label should be placed just as you would a regular envelope centered. These can be removed and charged postage due. The post office will not run rigid or semi-rigid mailers through mail sorting machines intentionally. knows anything about this service and those 6x8 paperboard mailers are not always going to be excepted even though they seem ideal for mailing cards. And the address being parallel to the longest side is confusing, I print out the shipping label and could attach parallel, but the actual address itself would be running horizontal. I don't see how that is possible with a 3"x4" piece of cardboard, it wouldn't make it "uniformly" flat. ![]() Has anyone used the Standard Envelope option yet?
